Meet Julie the Celebrant
Hello..
I’m Julie, and I create warm, personal ceremonies for couples who know what matters to them and want a celebration that feels like theirs.
Maybe you love some traditions and couldn’t care less about others. Maybe you’ve got your own ideas about how you want the day to feel, or maybe you simply want a ceremony that reflects who you are, rather than following a formula.
Whatever you’re planning, I’ll help you create something personal, relaxed and full of the things that make your relationship yours.
Your ceremony should feel like you — not something you’ve borrowed from somebody else.

Maybe you want to celebrate everything that’s brought you to this point — the experiences you’ve shared, the lessons you’ve learned, the people who have shaped your lives and the person who came along and made you think:
“Yep. You. Let’s do this!”
Or perhaps you want to pause and celebrate the relationship you already have. The highs, the lows, the adventures, the ridiculous arguments, the belly laughs and all those ordinary moments that somehow became a life together.
Whatever your story looks like, your ceremony should reflect it. The people you are. The things you love. The life you’ve built.
There’s no one way to celebrate love — there’s only the way that feels right for you.

As your celebrant, we’ll work together and I'll get to know you, your story, your sense of humour, your quirks, qualities and the things that matter most to you.
I’ll help you create a ceremony that feels genuine, meaningful, relaxed and, most importantly, bloody brilliant.
Here’s to your story.
Beautifully personal.
Completely yours.
I’d love to help you celebrate it.

So that's a little bit about Julie the Celebrant...but what about the woman behind the name?
If you're looking for a wedding celebrant who thinks your ceremony should be about you - not ticking boxes or following traditions that don't feel like you, you've found me!
I'm Julie, a mum of five, a twice-married woman and, for more than 20 years, wife to my lovely husband Steve. So when it comes to love, life, relationships and all of the wonderfully complicated bits in between, I've lived a bit of it myself!
It's one of the reasons I especially love working with couples who are celebrating love a little later in life, couples who have found love again, or simply want their ceremony to reflect the people they are now.
I'm originally from Reading, but South Wales has been home for around 30 years. I now live in the Rhondda Valleys, with the beautiful Welsh countryside on my doorstep, and my caravan in West Wales providing the perfect excuse to escape to the coast whenever I can.
I'm happiest when I'm near the sea with my dog Ruby, looking for sea pottery. I love reading, drinking tea, writing books, going to the gym and running fitness classes for women in my community.
Creativity is a huge part of who I am. Alongside being a wedding celebrant, I work in Learning and Development, designing engaging content and learning experiences. So, creating something personal, meaningful and memorable is very much my thing, and that's exactly what I bring to your ceremony.
